Featured Project

In June 2021, Niricson implemented AUTOSPEXᵀᴹ and DRONIC to perform a condition assessment of an arch dam in the United States. The complete assessment includes crack and spall detection, and quantification along with delamination detection along the joints of the concrete.

Niricson’s ground team along with the client’s internal drone team collected the data, overcoming site-specific challenges such as High voltage powerlines, high temperatures, line of sight issues, and areas without GPS satellite connectivity. With all told, the team successfully captured the data, built a 3D model, and mapped and quantified the various cracks and spalls on the structure.
